Shipping Policy

Marmara International Furniture Inc.

At Marmara International Furniture Inc., we are committed to providing reliable service and high-quality products to our wholesale partners. To ensure clarity and protect both parties, this Shipping & Pick-Up Policy outlines all terms related to product collection, handling, and transportation.

1. No Shipping Services Provided

Marmara International does not provide shipping, delivery, or transportation services to dealers or wholesale buyers.

All orders must be picked up directly from our designated warehouse or storage facility by the wholesale buyer or their assigned carrier.

2. Pick-Up Requirements

Dealers are responsible for:

  • Scheduling their pick-up appointment

  • Arranging their own transportation

  • Ensuring that the vehicle, equipment, and manpower are appropriate for safe loading and transport

  • Verifying that all picked-up items match the invoice before leaving the warehouse

Once the items leave our warehouse, the order is considered complete and accepted in full.

3. Handling Responsibilities

Dealers must handle all products with care during:

  • Loading

  • Securing items in the vehicle

  • Transportation

  • Unloading

  • Assembly

Marmara International strongly recommends:

  • Using protective padding

  • Securing items properly

  • Avoiding stacking items in a way that could cause damage

  • Assigning trained personnel for handling and assembly

4. Transfer of Responsibility

Responsibility for the products transfers to the dealer as soon as the items are picked up from our warehouse.

After pick-up:

  • Marmara International is not responsible for any damage caused during transportation by the dealer or any third-party carrier acting on their behalf.

  • We are not responsible for damages caused by improper handling, dropping, dragging, or incorrect loading.

All such risks belong solely to the dealer.

5. Damage After Pick-Up

Marmara International does not cover or compensate for:

  • Damage occurring during transportation

  • Damage caused while moving items into a showroom, warehouse, or customer’s home

  • Damage resulting from improper storage conditions (e.g., moisture, humidity, heat)

  • Damage caused by improper assembly or incorrect installation

  • Damage caused by untrained personnel or assembly mistakes

Once the products leave our facility, all risks and responsibilities lie fully with the dealer.

6. Assembly Responsibility

Dealers are fully responsible for:

  • Correct assembly of all items

  • Using proper tools and hardware

  • Ensuring parts are installed as instructed

  • Verifying stability and safety after assembly

Marmara International is not responsible for:

  • Personal injuries due to incorrect assembly

  • Damages caused by assembly errors

  • Missing hardware discovered after the product has already been transported

Dealers must inspect all hardware and components before leaving the warehouse.

7. Inspection at Pick-Up

We encourage all wholesale buyers to:

  • Inspect each item thoroughly

  • Check for visible defects or missing parts

  • Confirm quantities

Any issues must be reported before leaving the warehouse.


After pick-up, Marmara International will not accept claims related to visible damage.

8. Third-Party Carriers

If the dealer uses a third-party transportation provider:

  • Marmara International has no involvement in that relationship

  • We are not responsible for damage caused by third-party transporters

  • Any disputes must be resolved between the dealer and their carrier

9. Customer Delivery by Dealers

If dealers deliver products to their own retail customers:

  • Marmara International is not responsible for any damages, delays, assembly issues, or disputes arising between the dealer and the end customer.

10. Agreement

By placing an order with Marmara International Furniture Inc., the dealer acknowledges and agrees to all terms outlined in this Shipping & Pick-Up Policy.
